1 :HP Pavilion 27 All-in-One Desktop Computer
The latest HP Pavilion with a 27-inch display is the best all-in-one desktop PC for most consumers. Given HP’s track record in this product category, that’s hardly a surprise. Beyond its impossibly elegant design with ultra thin display bezels, the desktop boasts futureproof hardware specs (including upgradeable memory) and top-notch performance, all at an agreeable price point.
I like that the display panel of the HP Pavilion is touch-sensitive, giving users more options to interact with the onscreen content. Its retractable webcam is also quite convenient. The desktop’s B&O-tuned stereo speakers complement the display perfectly.
HP also offers a variant of the Pavilion all-in-one desktop with a more compact 24-inch touch screen. This all-in-one desktop by HP, on the other hand, has captivating design and solid specs for less than $1,000.
2 :Acer Aspire Z24 All-in-One Desktop Computer
The Acer Aspire Z24 proves you can get a powerful all-in-one desktop without breaking the bank. It has elegant design, respectable hardware, and reliable performance — at a price tag that’s simply impossible to ignore.
I really like the product’s display. Flanked by insanely slim top and side bezels, it has wide viewing angles and clever built-in tech to protect your eyes during prolonged use. It includes protection against harmful blue light, as well as flickering. Note that the display panel of the device isn’t touch-sensitive.
Acer has equipped the Aspire Z24 with a Full HD webcam and a duo of high-quality microphones. Combined, they make the reasonably priced desktop computer an excellent tool for remote work.
3 :Apple iMac All-in-One Desktop Computer With 5K Display
Apple has a lot of top-notch options, but the 27-inch iMac with 5K Retina display is our current favorite. Rightfully considered by many to be the gold standard for all-in-one desktop computers, it features an elegant all-metal body, powerful hardware, and a super set of wired and wireless connectivity options.
The 5K Retina display of the iMac is truly in a league of its own. It’s stunningly sharp, incredibly bright, and capable of delivering exceptionally accurate colors. A PCMag review editor rightfully noted that the screen is “among the best you can find on any all-in-one.”
In case you find the 27-inch iMac a tad too big, consider the more affordable 21-inch variant with equally impressive 4K display. If industry-crushing power and productivity are what you’re after, you need the Space Gray-colored iMac Pro instead.
4 :Acer Chromebase 24 All-in-One Desktop Computer
The Acer Chromebase 24 is a great option for Chrome OS users looking for a big-screen experience. Coupled with 8 GB of RAM, the device’s Intel Core i3 processor is plenty powerful to handle all the productivity and entertainment tasks that Google’s platform can offer. A variant with a speedier Intel Core i5 processor is also available.
This variant of the Chromebase 24 is equipped with a touch-screen panel, thus allowing users to interact with a multitude of Android apps. Acer offers a more reasonably priced version without a touch screen as well.
Just like the Aspire Z24 desktop we already mentioned, the Acer Chromebase packs a Full HD webcam and two high-quality microphones for seamless video conferencing.
5 :HP ENVY 32 All-in-One Desktop PC
One of our favorite products of CES 2020, the feature-packed HP ENVY 32 is the ultimate all-in-one desktop PC, thanks to an incredible design, as well as enough power and features to appeal to even the most discerning users. An Engadget review editor praised the desktop for offering “just about everything we’d want in a tabletop rig.”
Powered by an NVIDIA graphics chip, the ENVY 32 is also an impressively capable gaming rig. It even has an insanely convenient, wireless smartphone charger built into its stand. Overall, this is the PC desktop to buy, so long as its price tag fits in your budget.
The vast and vibrant, truly spectacular 4K screen of the desktop alone makes it worth buying. The HDR-compatible display has support for an ultra-wide color gamut and a peak brightness of 600 nits, making every interaction feel like a special occasion.
Best of all, the screen is complemented by Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers with class-leading sound. It’s the best I’ve heard from a desktop computer to date.
